Following! Looks awesome! Can't wait to see progression. How do you think the cube aquascapes? We are going with a square based tank that is shorter so not a cube but curious how you like the shape.

Omg im following. Once u have tried it and quit, coming back having knowledge is dangerous. Good luck with wife. Cant wait to see where u go from here, small tanks have a bad rep. But i think it all depends on the person.

Playing the waiting game now. Frag tanks should be shipping first/second week of feb. I'm going to start plumbing this weekend and getting things ready. Bought another bubble king as backup. This one is a BK300 internal. Shipped today from Michigan so I think 3 days?

I am the absolute worst at aquascape. I wish I had some more talent lol. It just ended up a blob of a rock pile.

I am taking more time with my daughters. She is so picky lol.

Scott that looks like Jorge's store... are you in Georgia? As far as aquascaping a 60 it can be tricky. If you're in Georgia, I can swing by and lend a hand. (Might be a few weeks due to traveling) I've been told I've got the touch for aquascaping. Here's some of our cubes for inspiration. I use driveway markers to insert into the rock

Sorry for the delay. I never get notices when people reply from this forum, grrr.

This tanks look great!!!!

Haha. That is indeed Jorge at Pure Reef lol. I love his store, so clean and such amazing people.

Getting closer and closer to the frag tanks arriving. Need to order 2 ATI 48x 8 bulb Dimmable fixtures and I think that is about it.

This just came in the mail today.

What are you holding in post #48?

Very interested in your basement sump.

Sorry I never get an update email telling me someone has posted.

That is the Vertex neck cleaner for my Bubble King 250 double cone skimmer. It looks like a piece of art.

I have been in Hawaii the last 12 days, back home Sunday so the basement will finally start. My 2 custom acrylic 48x24x12 frag tanks are being built as I type. Should have those in the next couple of weeks. I wasn't in a hurry until I got those but I have to start getting this going or it never will.

The 60 gallon will be replaced by a 120 gallon in wall in my office that is as big as I can fit, so when you Coke in my front door you will see the tank. Going to do a custom tank with the overflow external on the end. I'll have a custom stand built onsite for the tank as 2" will be resting on the stud in the wall so 22" will be on the inside of my office. It will be plumbed right into the basement sump room. Thankfully the black tang is growing quickly, that was the only way I could talk the wife into this idea lol.

Awesome! I love this stand. I have a 60g cube and can't find a sexy white stand like this anywhere!
I know its a late reply but I was always looking for a nice clean white stand like this and could never find a material suitable enough for the stand (plus I'm not handy enough to build a high quality one). So I ended up building a basic stank with 2x4's and then getting gloss white cabinet doors from Ikea and attaching them to the stand came out great and is very water resistant!
