So 9 months in and I'm still having issue with cyno, so decided to add 25lbs of live rock from LFS to my refugium.

Here is a couple of pics of the uglies. I'll update in a few weeks and see if this relatively small amount of rock will add enough bacteria to make a difference. If this doesn't help, I'll try 100lbs from TBS in February.

Add .5 ml of hydrogen Peroxide per 10 gals daily at night and cyano will go bye bye. Im on month 3 of doing this. My tank sparkles, bedding is white and I have to clean glass every 7-10 days instead of every 2-3 days.

I have been reading the recent thread on H2O2 with interest. I think I'll give the live rock (I'll add another 25 lbs this week) a month or two to clear things up. If it does not, or if I get impatient , I try the H2O2.

I used to dip frags in diluted h202 for a certain amount of time to kill off green algae, worked great. Unless you walk away and forget them in the dip for too long ...

Can this peroxide dosing for water clarity and cyano knock down be done while carbon dosing? (Vinegar)

I searched and found a few h202 threads, have a link to the proper one?

Just did a pump swap on hammerhead for a seal replacement. Reeflo pumps have been running my systems for years. Just can't beat the flow they provide for the price.

Coming up on 2 years next month.
Great livestock selections! Are those blue reef chromis top right? If so I haven't seen people with those frequently but they're pretty cool.

Any side-effects from doing this? How do acros react to that?
