So the pictures above were from August. Growth looks pretty good!

I have a few questions about that tank and stand combo. I own the same tank/stand combo. Currently it's FW. I plan to drill it and plumb it to make it a reef tank. How would you say the integrity of the stand with all the sand and rock plus a sump underneath? What is the size of the sump? Thanks!

It’s been a solid tank and stand since buying brand new. I’ve had absolutely no issues whatsoever. Even adding more rock and drilling the tank still has been great. For the sump, I actually custom built the sump as you know underneath the stand there is no room at all.

I see that you moved the center brace of the stand. Any other modifications that was made? Is it possible to see a picture of in the stand? Sorry for the annoying questions.

Edit: Oh, I was wondering how much rock and sand you have in the tank?

No other modifications besides drilling the tank! I sure can take some pictures and show the stand and sump! Giving this is an estimate I believe I have around 80-100lbs of sand and probably around the same for the rock. It does look like quite a bit of rock as those branching rocks look big.

Thank you so much. I've been wanting to convert the 60g to reef since last summer. The only thing holding me back was building a stand or using the current one. Eventually, that went on hold due to the pandemic. I don't want to go shopping for wood in store now. D:

I would say that if you are crafty you can definitely make that stand work just fine.

I used the Eshopps Eclipse medium! Also here is the pictures I forgot to post of the stand. It is a bit messy but it gets the job done!

Sorry for the many questions. Your return is over the top or drilled? Since I have the same tank, I just wanted to make sure I do it similar to yours. I will be making my stand since I never liked the stand that it came with.

I meant is the return drilled?
You did say that ha! It is over the top not drilled. I did want to drill it though and I still might!
