Welcome to R2R! I think an invert tank with crabs and shrimps would be aweosme! I need to find one of these for my sons room!

But seriously I would personally go with a small cuc and a bonded pair of something small. I pistol goby combo would create a sand storm as the pistol constantly digs. Not so bad but he would redo your surface.
How about this pair? I like these.....

I'll take a look into something like that. I had a pistol before and enjoyed him. Still got some time to decide I guess

quick update:

last week added some snails, hermits and a peppermint shrimp - havent seen him since :)

today i picked up two frags of cheap zoas and also did a 30% water change before i put them in. opened up ok, interested to see them on monday

if all goes well, looking to pickup some sexy shrimp and a blue porcelain crab end of next week. decided to go with all inverts and then adding whatever centerpiece shrimp (to be determined)...love fire shrimp but never see them. leaning to a skunk cleaner or CBS
