72hr blackout has begun

So I had a small case of dino's show up on two rocks. I have decided to try 72 hr blackout. How dark must you get? I have my tank wrapped tightly with cardboard, but my intakes and returns have small gaps. For the most part it is dark, but I cannot get all of it. Will this work? Should I also dose H2O2 at the same time? I hope I caught it early enough and can isolate and get rid of it. The tank has been setup for 13yrs and I have never had to deal with Dino's.

Dam dinos iv been battling them now for about two weeks n just started hydrogen peroxide 1 mil per ten gallons 3 days ago and today its all loose n dying the strings have stopped I also turned down the leds a lot just enough to get everything open n it seems like my corals have opened up a lot bigger with them turned way down im gonna dose for six days then turn up the lights iv Turkey basted and net method to clean up the decay n tossed a sock on hopefully it will b gone good luck ill reply n let you know how it turns out 13 years good going im on month 15

I took the cardboard off tonight and I will turn the lights on tomorrow and report. It was a small amount, so I am hoping its gone. It was like Christmas taking the box off!

Well today with the lights back on I have no signs of Dino's. I did catch it super early and like I said it was very minimal. I hope it doesn't decide to show backup, but the 72hr (actually 82hr) blackout did work.
