December 8th 2022 was the day I began cycling my aquascape so, that's what I consider the birthday. 10 months in the change is incredible. Lots of dead fish unfortunately. And lots of dead coral but, as a first reef tank, I am amazed by the progress. From bleaching rocks from my father's home that he recovered while drilling a well in the 1970's, to fighting chemistry issues; This has been a frustrating but fun ride. I'm here to learn more.

Good job -- looks good. ("Lots of dead fish" and "lots of dead corals" sounds like a bummer but other than that)

That's the outlet for the HOB Skimmer. The course sponge is to trap the mirco bubbles.
