Working on cleaning up the cords. I love the 90⁰ link cables i got they make it super easy to lay the extra cords to the back. I'll work on the power cables later. Looking at having 2 groups. One on each back corner.

Started removing the old sump. Not many pictures just kept moving through once I got started. Removed most of the plumbing, the skimmer which was nasty with GHA, the fuge light ect. Gotta love the rats nest of wires I have created. Used the shop vac once I got most of the water out.

Found some sponges on a media bag that was in the drain section.

Old sump out and test fit new one.

Cut off the old plumbing from the EShopps eclipse L and added couplings with new pipes. I didnt see the point in buying 3 more bulk heads.

Added some pipe hangers.

Added disconnects.

Started fitting in the piping, valves and T fittings where the other tank drains will be added later.

All plumbed and running

Got the calcium reactor plumbed in and running. Plus got some wires managed.

So I had an oops and broke the tubing adapter off the skimmer inlet! Ahhhhh! Thanks to Adam @Battlecorals with his genius quick fix we are back up and running until I get a new adapter.

Drilled out the hole to ¼ and stuffed RODI tubing in there, adapted it to the silencer with some silicone tubing I had left from the kamoer. Adjusted the RO Tubing a bit and BAM we're skimming again!

Ahhhh why me! My vectra M2 started randomly powering off. At first I could get it to start and run for a few minutes, but now it comes on and immediately shuts down. Good on ecotech though they are sending me a brand new driver.

Thanks to @bubbaque for the inspiration and @Dierks for walking me through it I've made my first batch of fish food! I started with tilapia shrimp and scallops, added 4 or 5 sushi sheets that I feed, a plankton blister pack, a mysis blister pack, and some reef chili to it. Ended up with 7 bags and have tons left to make next time. I did remove the shells and such from the shrimps.

I love the idea of making your own food. I’ve wanted to do that but haven’t taken the time yet to find a good mix. It looks like you have shrimp, scallops, and tilapia? Do you chop everything up or just throw it in a food processor? Once in the bags do you freeze it again? When feeding do you strain it at all or just scoop some out and toss it in? Do you spot feed your corals?

sorry for the 20 questions, I hope you don’t mind sharing.
