So I started this tank to get some fish a friend is giving away. Started with Dr tims one and only. Immediately put clown in after water cleared from adding.. Checked parameters daily and only saw traces of nitrate ammonia or phosphate. Plumbed skimmer in after 5 days and now ready to go. DIY quick stand, old 75 gallon tank, eshopps 300 wet dry sump with reefrocks, mag 18 running return and the lifereef vs3 36 skimmer. I know the skimmer is a little overkill, but all I had and had to get tank going fast.
