So I have a 8 gallon that as been sitting around cycling for about a month. as of right now all it consists of the tank, pump, heater. I haven't done anything with this except let it cycle. to make this an operational system I will need to build a light system, figure out filtration, aquascape. I will be doing this on a budget so most everything will be DIY. I have a few ideas of what i would like to do for the aquascape. lights are unknown at this point. well I will start updating you all on the build as I go thanks

Budget builds are great! Can't wait to see it come together!!

I would so take a 120 over an 8g!!! LOL I have a 15x15x7 (maybe 5,5G) at work that I would gladly break down and bring home if it ment I was able to have a bigger tank here. Currently have a 48x12x12 (33L w/20L sump) Really want a 180!!! But even when I was setting up my work tank I had a lot of fun doing so because that too was a budget build. Now Im growing some nice SPS and looking to add more soon. Good luck with the build!!!
