My fault, i should have been more clear.
1) Ran the Huge RK2 for a year pH was always 8.3, then sold unit
2) Put back online the Precision Marine Dual Beckett Skimmer pH would struggle to be 8.0 for 1 year
3) Built this custom Dual Mazzi Venturi skimmer - That's when pH went back to 8.3. It's the only change I made.

Dual Mazzi Protein Skimmer has really flat lined my PH just like the old RK2 giant skimmer. I Think I can safely claim massive air injection into a large enough skimmer with a ton of contact time can raise and hold steady pH by gassing off the excess cO2.
8.27 - 8.33 pH in 24 hour period.
