That's a lot of flow. Lol. I'm running an eheim compact+ that's I believe 750gph, throttled down to about 60%. Was shooting for a 4x turnover through sump. Excuse the haze in, don't have any recent sump shots on hand after everything had settled.

I wish I would have seen these before I went with varioS, I love mine but you get a lot more for your money with the jebao

Jebao doesn't seem to get the praise it deserves. I use the dp4 doser and the wavemakers and now the return pump. And if you compare to vortech, jebao is amazingly similar and at a fraction of the cost.

Definitely True, I run the dp4 and it works great. I have two used Jaboe power heads that are great as well and jaboe is 1/4 the price of ecotech

Pump came in! Suprisingly heavy and seems to be built fairly well. Thanks reefermadness80g for the info on these! Few more days and I'll finally have time to get it wet!

Came across a three light led set at Home Depot today and couldn't resist mounting them in sump. 30 colors and a remote for 39.99. Only went in for screen top parts..

Update for the week, not a lot has changed but after moving lights up a bit to 12" acro growth has increased. Still using 8 bulb t5 but added a 48" led strip in the back by orbit marine. Doesn't do much at all but it's nice when the t5's are off. Also trying a more "hands out" approach. As you can probably tell by my wondering corals I need to keep my hands out of the tank!

That's a great looking tank! Love seeing all the different SPS corals both on the rocks and in your rack!

Added a bit more light today. Two blue ebay led strips. So far so good! Very blue even with 3 whiter bulbs in the 8 bulb t5 fixture. Adds a nice balance. Also using them for morning/night as seen in the one Super blue photo. Clowns also got a nem a couple months back and couldn't be happier/ angrier depending on who you ask

That’s a good flow rate. Have a m1 on my 80 gallon I’m gonna have to dial it back too
