Couple new nems and clowns! One clown came in with a bubble eye?? It's been like that for 6 weeks, only one eye. Must just be an injury. Midas blenny thinks he's a clownfish and my little zoa tank. I also cut out the center brace over the weekend!!!!

Well, it’s been a while. A couple moves and a new tank exactly half the size of my 80. Traded tanks with a member on here and finished it up. Here she is! Already wanting to go bigger again lol

Yup, I knew I’d be switching apartments a couple times and it would be easier to move. Just finally bought a house so it’s looking like I’ll need a much larger tank in the coming year

Well I found my thread again thanks to @kschweer. It’s become more of a build chronology but here are a few updates, more Sps added, a good growth shot of the above milli and new clowns as the mother in law killed the Lightning’s by letting them out of breeder box while watching the tank and my big occy’s attacked them. Oh well lol. I also set up a little innovative marine 20 in a spare bedroom. That will be for frags, lps and my bully clowns that attack my angel. This will be the third tank on this thread. Planning the fourth but that may be a couple years.

Now that I've had my 57 running for a little over a year I felt it was time to upgrade to an 80. I love the dimensions of this tank! It will be a somewhat slow progression but I'm having fun and the tank hasn't even came in. Started building the stand and pricing out other odds and ends. The big thing right now is a new sump. Keeping my t5 reefbrite combo from the last build as well as apex, jaboe wave makers and dosing pump, ato and all the other goodies that I can switch over. Thanks for taking a look!
Nice tank.

The 40 gallon was fun but the must saga continue. Now that I have a house with solid floors it’s finally time for an upgrade. This has been 3 years in the making and we redid our back living room from the framing up to accommodate the new tank. I sistered the floor joists under the tank location to be safe and went with tile for ease of clean up. Here’s a few pics of the start of my sca 150 and my 40.

Trigger 10 gallon ato reservoir
Tunze ato
Waterbox aluminum stand w/ plywood top. ( I like a good leaning ledge)
2x mp40

Jaboe dc 15k plumbed externally
Pair of jager 250w on inkbird
Apex 2016
Deltec skimmer
Vipar spectra 165w for fuge/ frag area light
Bubble magus dosing pump for now but I’m leaving space for cal reactor in stand.
