what corner bracket are you thinking of using? this will help to shorten the spans inside 90deg. also a long corner

What he said. Or from top,to bottom, horizontal. Top of one, corner to bottom of other. Side to side movement is your only downfall here I think.
The brace it run full length welds, use the I beam, angle, whatever welds solid (pipe would even work). If you want doors it will not be structurally sound without brace framing them.
IMO. And I would be sure to do a full weld. No rivets or bolts.

For what you want to achieve the best fastener would be the internal "Standard Anchor Fastener Assembly" from the same company you are looking at. I have started a very similar build and from the loading strength this is what is suggested

Note the 80/20 extrusion needs to be machined to fit the anchor fasteners. It’s a click option from the factory to add it to the ends. From consulting with them, they strongly recommend these over the corner gussets for most loads.

Hi All.

Will a 48” span of 1530 aluminum hold a 120 gallon tank with no center support?

Designing my stand with 1530 top frame and 1530 legs.

Any help appreciated.
[email protected] can make and design a stand. He did mine. 48x24x31 tank on a 60 inch stand. Center supported. Hpe was at reefapaloosa two years ago selling their services.. living reef orlando has a massive stand under a huge tank that they made. Email Ryan. I love my stand.

Creating a strong bulwark: Did you consider floor support for your reef tank?
