I've got 4 closed loop pumps, 2 return pumps, I have 4 outgoing holes in the tank, 10 Return holes. I'm going to install 4 sea swirls so must allow provisions for that. I have 4 double BRS canisters, 2 UV skimmers. All that has to be hard plumbed

Oh boy I feel tired just thinking about it

I'm planning to have all the piping hung with brackets, that way there is no flex in the pipes, causing pressure to the drilled holes in the glass, although all the piping is high pressure pipe so its thick. but a lot more to do.

It’s a funny thing these Aquarium, I like to come home from work and do some of my own work on the Aquarium, it calms me down from what can be a crappy day, but that has to fit in with the family.

In my family whoever comes home from work first, cooks dinner. So if I pull up the drive way and see that I'm first home, I sit in the car on the drive way, and think what do I need buy from Bunnings, that’s your Home Depot. So of I go, hopefully the better half will arrive home and she will start dinner. If that fails, I see how far away she is and go get take out, what we call take away.

This week its been all late nights home for the Mrs, so I've cooked a lot. were going on a 5 week epic vacation to Europe so I've been told to pull in Aquarium spending a little, I think she has caught on, if she works back, I cook, and I don't go to the Hardware store hence don't spend money :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: ill try my luck and see if I can pull up to the hard ware store with her and say do you mind if we pop in I need a few things :p:p:p:p:p:p:p

Hahahahaha. the things we do for this hobby.

Hi all from Aquanature down under,

I have this silly sump that someone had requested my tank builder to build, with silly dimensions 4ft long x 2ft tall and 6 inches wide. it happens to be a perfect size freshwater tank to fit behind my display tank.

We removed all the sectioned that made it a sump, but now it’s a little flexible, I’d like to enclose, by sticking a bit on top leaving enough room to place in the pump, I just wondering how well acrylic sticks to glass as I have a lot acrylic laying around?

Plumbing is taking a little longer, with all the joints I hope I don’t have a fountain once its all done. I’m working on the return at the moment, and I’ve got two return pumps at 2600gph each.

I have 4 tapped outlets in order to run reactors, I got 4 reactors similar to the BRS reactors in the pic, I’ll run GFO, sulfur, and carbon as needed. The BRS units however is one pipe in and one pipe out, where as the ones I have are 2 pipes in and 2 out so a little more control ability, why am I running this type of reactors rather then you big Octo style reactors, simply cost, I got these given to me, and I can run what I won’t in 8 canisters basically.

Any way long road a head
