Hi all,

I am looking to build a 90 gallon aquarium stand for my Aqueon tank that is 48.5" x 18.5" x 25.375". I would like the stand to be 30" tall. Can someone let me know what the sizes of the wood I would need for this stand. I have the basic idea of what I would like to build but not quite sure on the wood cuts. I have a picture of the stand I would like to build.

I appreciate any and all help that can be give. Also, hope everyone is staying safe right now!

A 2x4 frame is more than enough. This is a representation of what a lot of reefers use.

Note that the inside green 2x4's do not touch the ground (floor) or the top of the stand.
I used this design and bigger wood to make a stand for a 180g plus a 75g tank on one stand. P5010003.JPG

I used something similar to the sketch above for my 120 except I sistered the 2x4’s. My have been unnecessary but for ~$5 and no affect to my design build that $5 makes me sleep good at night

That is a nice looking stand. One question. Have you ever built anything like this before? If not you may want to check out several build threads and see how the did their stands to get some ideas before you start.
