They were booming for awhile but about the last month started to fade or melt. I feel like they've been in low to moderate flow they're wishers are waving abit. Now the temp when I looked last night was 79.5 so I've been takin measures to get it back down to around 78 but I dunno if that would be enough to do it.

I've been watching this frag get this algae type growth on the backside of it to its kind of flat leafy like. Hope you can see it in the pic. Wonder what that is looks maybe like dragons breath but it's brown.

I've got all the stuff on the way to build a algae turf scrubber so I'll do a build of that on this thread too. Starting to see a couple tufts of green hair algae in there and I'd like a more natural approach than running the GFO not to mention other than the initial cost it'll be a lot cheaper than the GFO.

Got the acrylic box done for the algae turf scrubber also got the slot pipe and screen finished all I'm waiting on now is I need to get some 3/4" hose for the connection and some long cord for the led lights then I'll be ready to get this thing growin some nastiness. Everything leak tested good. I'll update as I go.

Still should prob add some blinders to the sides of the lights so not as much light escapes but it should work like a charm. We will see I guess. It was a fun build

Cleaned out the nasty sanded in the refugiam to accommodate the scrubber. That's the reason for the cloudy water. But I have it all running now so we will see how everything goes. Gonna make a trip to the fish store tomaro and bring home some new goodies!
