2nd day and the remaining trio seem to be doing well! I added a cheap led light to the side yesterday and that seemed to help bring them out and make them more active, light inside the house just wasn't bright enough.

All 3 are pecking at food and I feel eating some which is good to see. I fed this morning before I do another small water change to remove any left over uneaten food

I have noticed some of my corals letting out those feeder tentacles like the lobo, trachy and candy canes when I dose the phytoplankton from Algaebarn that I got along with the copepods and chaeto! The copepods are not the only ones eating:beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Sooo...

Been a very eventful day to say the least. I had my replacement anthias come in today from the wholesaler that petco uses since they had a 7 day guarantee. Well petco screwed up and instead of replacing 2 anthias, they replaced the 2 packs of 5 anthias so I opened the box to 10 new anthias 😅

On top of this crazy surprise I had 1 anthias show symptoms of uronema this morning from the orginal shipment and stop eating. Within hours it had developed and started showing decline fast! Unfortunately I lost her this evening, but the other 12 anthias are looking good so far.

At the moment I took what action I could and found my lfs carried ruby rally pro which i am using treatment plan from humblefish by his dosing recommendation along with started copper power, dosed half today and will dose the rest tomorrow. My Hanna copper test was supposed to be in today but now shows tomorrow so hopefully it comes in so I can get copper up to the proper levels.

I am hopeful I can save the remaining anthias but do realize they are hard to get through QT especially know for sure 1 has already died from uronema 😢 I'll keep updating as they go through QT

It's funny seeing all those unwanted anthias hanging around in that tank :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I love the way they group together and look! I always wanted a large school of anthias but I also know I can't keep all 12 in this tank if they all make it throw QT

I added in a 90 degree 3" pvc and fake plant to help give some more hiding spaces and hopefully break up any aggression. Way to many for a 20 gallon tall, I was not expecting this

Day 1 and everyone made it through the night and seems to be doing well. Tried feeding some this morning and only a couple are interested in food at the moment

Update on all systems

90g is coming along great, tested parameters and im happy with where the tank is currently at!

29g nano is doing pretty great as well other than nitrates are 0, I figured something had bottomed out because the montipora and gonipora lost their color and started retracting. I overfeed this tank with frozen/pellets to ensure the palm sized chaeto i keep in the back chamber doesn't strip the water. So i ordered NeoNitro to dose nitrates since overfeeding isn't keeping up. Don't mind the dirty tank, Friday was my cleaning/water change day which didn't happen since I was consumed with the 10 anthias.

20g with the anthias so far doing good, i see all the anthias eating or attempting to eat. I am feeding twice a day metro soaked frozen food and 1 time untreated frozen. I'll be continuing the daily rally pro dose which will be 5 days on with 1 day break then another 5 day treatment. Also brought copper power level up to 2.4 yesterday which will be a 30 day treatment. The tank is receiving 3-4 gallon daily water change to suck up any left over food and poo.

Day 3 in QT

Lost 1 anthias this morning to uronema, the only other anthias that has a little red under its fin and scales ruffled looking seems to be healing as the red behind the gills has started to lessen and she still is swimming and eating.

The remaining anthias seem to be doing well, no visible signs of uronema and seem to all be eating small amounts during feeding.

Following along! Wish you luck with the anthias!

Day 4 in QT

This morning performed a 80% water change to remove any food/poo and to ensure ammonia wouldn't start creeping up. Dosed copper power back to 2.5 and another round of rally pro

I have 1 of the larger females showing some signs and was not interested in eating this afternoon but this morning seemed fine so hopeful she can pull through

This smaller female (pic is the tail facing the camera) was showing red spots behind the gills that ran vertical, but seems to be slowly healing and eating still!

Great pictures! Do you have like a camera or are you simply using your phone camera?
