I need to get some brittle stars for my reef... they're super cool. You're last fish store hooked you up for cleanup crew.

I have to say, I've had great success with Alaska Coral & Fish in Anchorage. These guys must have been hitchhikers on their live rock. Win!

Made a trip to the LFS this weekend, and I didn't buy anything!

Jk

+ 1 Yellow Watchman Goby replacement
+3 Pajama Cardinals

I was leaning Bangaii but the wife talked me into a few PJs instead, they should be pretty chill in the tank though!

With the new aquascape there is also a bunch more room for frags..

+ 1 Orange oxide zoa
+1 Florida ricordia mushroom
+ 1 Neon green cabbage leather
+1 Indo ricordia yuma
+1 Red ring purple hornets zoas

The Orange Oxide were looking bad-wrasse FOR ONE NIGHT UNTIL SOMEONE ATE THEM!!! I need to stop buying Zoas for now lol...

Otherwise, 15% WC yesterday, light maintenance, glued a bunch of the frags around the new scape, and installed the new Avast Marine Plank Feeder! I have it setup on a 2-outlet Kasa smart plug which can run down to 1 minute durations. I have the feeder Keg running 1 minute twice a day, then the pump running the following minute so there is a stagger to allow the plankton to soak. Not sure if that is necessary but I saw it as a tip around here somewhere.. We'll see how that works!

YWG still wasn't settled and had not found Pistol shrimp after the first 24 hours, we'll hope that is accomplished today..

Frags are all settling in, remaining zoas are stashed behind our tiny bi-color hammer for defense. So far so good. Lol

First testing since the tank move, 8 days since online and 2 since a 15% water change. (H) for Hannah Checkers, (RS) for Red Sea.

pH (H) - 8.1
NH3 (RS) - 0.1
NO2 (RS) - 0
NO3 (RS) - 15
dKH (H) - 8.8
PO4 (H) - 0.31
Ca (H) - 483

Phosphate at 0.31 is half of the 0.60 we were getting before the move. 80 lbs new live sand I would assume.

Few pics of the new frags to add some flavor:

Indo Ricordia Yuma, middle of the tank with a little shade.

Blue/Green Ricordia Florida (our 4th in the tank)..

Neon Green Cabbage Leather

Purple Hornet Zoas hiding on the frag rack for a bit.. look at all that room for new frags now :thinking-face:.

Zoas in the rear are Purple People Eaters we've had for a bit, down to 4 heads. Something been munchin', and one of the Clowns used to sleep on them in the old config..

Happy Tuesday!

Found an Orange Oxide head!! As I'm watching the tank, I see this little guy float from the back of a rock. Oh snap!! *grabs plug and glue, jam hands in tank and fish it out* boom!

Otherwise the fish are demolishing the Avast Marine freeze dried plankton! I have the feeder running 2 mins, 3x per day with the pump timer staggered a bit to allow a little extra soaking and push out all food at the end. I may adjust the timing to say, less time, more often, but so far so good.

Water change and light coral movement today, otherwise letting the tank settle in to the new house. Besides for a little mow job from a turbo snail -_-

I've been slacking on moving the leptoseris down, it's old rock ended up higher in the tank after rebuild, he was not happy up there. Blastos glued, black tubestrias glued, and I moved Pistol shrimp's ricordia decoration, traded him for a large shell.. He'll never know.. Except he will.

I've actually been combing through and organizing old photos for the last 2 hours. I'm about to walk Johann and then post some more material.

Linking here for future reference, posted an ID thread here for this odd, firm, Algae type stuff. So far, still a mystery..

In the interim, we're here watching the eagles cruise around in the breeze.

Any sign of the storms yet?
