Lots of growth. I will take photos after a good cleaning.

We had a wonderful time but I am glad to be back.

Sounds like the condition of my tank, and I haven't traveled!

I just emptied the skimmer cup and cleaned it. That stuff could destroy lives. LOL!

Glass is cleaned. Need to wash filter socks and let it clear up and will take pics.

The fish are all eating the larger pellets from Sustainable Aquatics very well.

Especially the tang.

The mollie miller blennies are eating algae as well.

The .8mm pellets from sustainable work very well. You might also try adding some frozen like formula 2 or reef frenzy.

So I ended up buying some Selcon and Reef Nutrition TDO Chroma Boost pellets in 1.7mm for 2" fish

Yep that's a big 'ole aptasia on the underside of that rock. Hopefully, the MM blennies will pick it and the other one I have off. If not, I will mix up some kalk paste and do away with them.

My wife has mentioned wanting to go there. Is it worth the trip?

Yes, it is. The Inn would be incredibly expensive but nice be on the grounds.

The mansion is cool but the grounds are incredible.

We stayed in a cottage about 15 minutes away and loved it. We will go back although I doubt we see the estate again. There is so much to see and do there it's amazing. Just be ready to put up with rude drivers and uhm, less than tolerant behavior from some of it's citizens.

That's actually a mimic or brown tang. He is a ham.

I can't get a great shot because he won't sit still but he swims across over half the pics I take.

That pretty awesome though, i didn't realize mimic tangs where a thing, i wonder how many times ive said "look at that sweet yellow tang" and its been actually a mimic now ^^

The difference is pretty obvious when you see a full shot of one. The mimic tang has body shape of an Acanthurus tang, not a Zebrasoma.
