Battlecorals buddies, i've been looking through the website, planning my next list, and in all the crazy names, and fantastic stories i saw this non-descript and quite mysterious coral listing. For context, i always look through the "Battlecorals" section, i like the names, and i like the descriptions, it's only recently i've been checking out the "Misc Collectibles" section.

There is a listing for a "Wonder Dud" which is described as "another mediocre reef raft piece". First off, it's quite inexpensive at $39, so i'm totally adding it to my next list and secondly, it looks pretty nice! but the mystery part is that the only pics i can find of this thing are the ones that Adam has taken. i've googled, and nothing, nobody, no one has posted any pics of their frags, or grown out colony; i don't see any listing if i search for Reef Raft Wonder Dud or even just wonder dud acro, so anyone out there please, if you have one, post up with a pic, or your thoughts on it, inquiring minds want to know! =)

You have a junker in your lot ? Hard to believe, reminds of the old add that the local Lady's club used to run. " Come some see all the pretty girls and the one ugly one " LOL

I personally LOVE the Wonder Dud,I feel like it doesn't get enough attention because its not a wild wanna be rainbow that is $300.
I think i'm going to add it to my next frag pack, i was at my local lfs this weekend, and that inexpensive "wonder dud" looks better than most of the sps i saw there and the store prices were way higher! =)

Timing is good. Just cut a few hefty frags. I’ve honestly never kept a row of this guy on the rack till a few weeks go oddly enough. Color is so so even under blues but the polyps are truly impressive in their own way.

I love the wonder dud as well, it's meaty. Under my LEDS the polys are starting to get teal tips. First pic is just white light, when I first got it. 2nd pic I took just now under only blue.

I think it fits the bill of a conversation collectable for sure. I would be surprised if there weren't at least a few.
