Just wanted to give a little hope to the newer Reefer who’s battling a disgusting amount of hair algea it can be beat. Just keep trying. Here’s my proud example of before and after. When it came down to it it was way to much food and Manuel removal ! Thank you reef2reef for all advice and encouragement

I thought the same thing. I doubt Brandon Lake was singing about his aquarium however!

How did that brush work with algae on the rockwork? Does it destabilize much? I have some algae growing out on some of my rocks (CUC is slowly trimming it down, but want to give them a hand), but I haven't glued down my rockwork and there are corals on the rocks.

It works actually really well, it has three speeds but you do have to be very careful around coral but if you take your time and go slow . Nice thing if rocks aren’t glued then you can move some with coral out of the way for a moment

I found that adding a crap ton of blue leg hermit crabs finally got the GHA under control during my ugly phase.
