My name's Luke, it's awesome to find a place with such a big community and so much knowledge!

I got my tank in May, and have been very cautiously making it into a decent reef tank.
My setup was a marketplace purchase, as a running tank. It is a SeaClear acrylic, 36x15x20. It came with a HW303B sump and a protein skimmer, and a basic LED bar light.

The tank came with the substrate, a couple live rocks, a sand sifting starfish, and a lonely clownfish.
I got my Darwin clown a standard friend, and they got along great. I added a couple of blue leg hermits, and found an emerald crab on one of my new rocks. I've also had a few snails appear.

The most recent additions are a fire shrimp, a strawberry basslet, a flame angel, a pincushion urchin and a cleaner wrasse. (Over the course of about a month)

My tank seems to be going well and looks to be back to established after getting moved and a huge water change initially. I'm terrified of something going wrong but I guess that's part of the adventure

I'm here to learn and extend my knowledge in the hobby, make my tank a better hone for my fish, and hey making friends would be fantastic too!

Welcome to Reef2Reef! Fellow Hoosier here. We are definitely limited, so it is nice to see the representation.

If you are anywhere near Indy, I'd look into joining INDMAS. It is a great group that meets monthly and you can even win some gift cards and such at their events. There's also a ton of knowledge to absorb. I definitely miss it since I moved further away. Feel free to hit me up if you need any recommendations on fish stores in Indy or up in Northernish Indiana.

I am in Indy! I saw the CCAC and thought about going to one of their meetings. I know about The Reef, and recently a couple smaller shops opened on the south side and they both have an impressive variety.

I also have a galaxy koi betta, so I am in all of the stores more then my wallet likes. I'm lucky my wife likes the fish as much as I do!
