Can't find an older picture of what the inside of the stand looked like before I cleaned it up today but it was a rats nest. The ballasts (x3) were laying on the bottom, all of the power supplies (4 kessils, 2 MP40s, and the Kessil controller), misc junk (I don't even know what some of the stuff was doing under there), etc.. I mounted everything up high, made the dimming cables for the T5s (only took a year and change...), and got everything off the bottom except the Kessil controller (I cant find its magnetic mount).

Health of the corals continues to improve. The favia that wasnt doing well has bounced back and looks great. The hammer still isn't completely dead but I'm not holding much hope (cant believe it has held on this long). I had some new additions arrive last week and they're doing quite well (actually ordered some zoas for the first time in about 6 years). I submitted an ICP to Triton last week just to see where things were at and there were a couple surprises. Tin is still elevated (10) and my salinity calculates out to roughly 37ppt when the freshly calibrated conductivity meter on GHL was showing 35ppt. I'll have to investigate that a little bit further.

Decided I couldn't go without some acroporas and picked a few things out yesterday. Ended up with an RR The Vinh, sunset mille, bubblegum mille, and pink lemonade. They opened right up and seem to have acclimated quite well.

I'll have to check PAR levels now that I have all the T5s back on but dimmed down to 27% with the Kessils maxing at 25%. Also need to move the torch corals to the right side of the tank (the area I've deemed mostly for LPS even though I originally designed that side with SPS in mind LOL). Probably move the favia and acan lord over there too so nothing else interferes with the acros.

And now for a few pics.

I'm not worried about BRS's support, I'm concerned about their ability to obtain parts quickly if/when needed. We'll see how that pans out. Tank is OK but nothing special at the moment. Some things are doing great and some not so hot. I need to get my act together and bring it back to where it should be. I bought a Shelby GT350 about a month ago so I've had something else keeping my attention. The engine seized up a little over a week ago with 454 miles on the car so that's on the back burner for a while LOL.
Great build thread!
Happy to find another GT350 reefer on R2R. Did you hear that 2020 is the last year for a stick shift shelby?

Yea, last year for the GT350 as it's being phased out by the Mach 1. The GT350 puts a smile on my face every time I drive it but I just dont trust any further than I can throw it. Part of me wishes I had waited for the Mach 1; all the handling bits but the more reliable 5.0 platform. Fun to drive though, can't deny that LOL.

Yep, the more gurgling, the bigger the internal smile is. I am sorry you've had a rough start with reliability, only problem here continues to be squeaky brakes and nails in tires.
Well, the last year model of a 350 should be easy to sell if/when you decide. How many miles do you have on it?

Is Saturday tank maintenance day for you? I am about to get started, lol, and obviously procrastinating.

I'm accustomed to the squeaky brakes since the last 3 were all performance packs LOL. Yea, I should do a water change today but am being lazy as well; only have to turn 3 valves but I find I'm less diligent about water changes on this setup than I was carrying buckets on the previous LOL.

Just a hair over 2k now.

Did you get into Track Attack? My son and I went, was amazing.
Did you get your owners supplant package? My dealer never mentioned it, so had to request it.

Been a while since I've posted any updates. Had a bunch of corals fighting so I had to get rid of a few and move a few. Galaxea ended up killing the elegance and almost got a couple others before I moved them; thankfully I got them in time and they recovered. The anemones overwhelmed the right side of the aquarium and I've been nuking them this past week; thought I got 'em all but some pulled through. I'm moving back to an acropora dominant setup like the 75g in the next couple weeks (have to rehome a couple more corals) and I'll grab a few more fish as well. Other than that, the tank has been doing quite well.

Greatest thing since sliced bread! I've wanted to grab a Swabbie from Avast for a long time but never got around to it, until last week. What an awesome piece of equipment! Easy to set up, fit great (8" Large fits the Bubble King 200 like a glove), and works fantastic. One of these days, I'll get around to plumbing the skimmer cup drain into the sewer line...

Things are still plugging along nicely. Most of the LPS are gone now and a number of acro frags have been added. The Vihn and Pink Lemonade are a couple of the older acros in the tank.
