Just occurred to me that I never posted the specifics on the dinos. I ended up ordering this microscope and using 400x magnification, captured this image via cell phone using an inexpensive mount.
After some assistance in the dino thread, they were positively ID'd as ostreopsis (made easy by looking at the whitish colored "beak" on each dino).
