Buyers remorse here with 'shrooms! I've had this orange Rhodactis Mushroom for years and it stayed solo never reproducing, then in the last couple years its exploded spreading and trying to take over the tank, even crawling/growing up on my Milka Stylo killing off a branch. Stylo prevailed though and didnt flinch. I

Man, some of your reefs with these nice mushrooms and you want to get rid of them, It’s my dream to have my nano looking like that. I’d gladly try grab some but it’s a shame I’m in the UK.

My nutrients in my nano are rather low and for some reason my mushrooms love it, possibly something predating on them?
I’ve not thought of this! Have not seen anything on them ever, but I guess maybe I’m not looking hard enough. Will keep an eye out now though

mushrooms are a real mixd bag. Have a few Yumas that I watch every day and rejoice at dropped spawn..

Have a hairy mushroom that destroys anything it touches and only gets angier when I try to remove it (F Mushroom a Product yet?)

I voted never, as in never again. I put mushrooms in the same plague category as palys.

I think they are nice like boats. What is better than owning a boat? Having a friend that owns a boat.
You need a friend with a boat so you can enjoy it with them on the weekends without all of the hassle that come with the owning one yourself.

Already shared some of these on the ricordea qotd. But hey! Here are some more pictures! I love mushrooms. My wife loves her ricordea garden as they are her favorite.

I adopt mushrooms that people don’t want, so far gained a Florida Ric, Yuma Ric, Blue Discosoma, Green Rhodactis. Still hunting for more in my Nano.

Yeah, he’s about 2 inch, the blenny beats him in size though!
Mine is about 3 inches or so. Fat and happy even though my Midas blenny took his tail off. Beautiful when he flashes at my Exquisite wrasse. He's probably my favorite fish in my big tank right now.
