Building a new cabinet for all my drivers/controllers and wondering can I mount it right to the cabinet, should I use spacers or drill hole behind it ? I do have a fan installed to pull any heat out of the cabinet.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
