Acan bleached in hours !!! How???

Hi

New hobbyist here. Bought two Acans a couple of days ago. One with single polyp was fine about 2 hours ago before I took my nap. But now it has completely turned white. Totally. It is in a tank with 7 other small frags. None anywhere close to it. It was at the bottom of the tank. The highest temperature that got was 79.3.
Any help on how it got bleached? Is this going to happen to the other one too?

All of the parameters are within range. I did a 5 gallon water change before adding the two Acans to the tank. The only thing I haven’t tested is Alkalinity.

Either high alk, bright lights or high salinity.
Also could have been stung?

Thank you. It was no where near another coral (which are zoanthids), Salinity has been stable, was at the bottom of the tank to the side so not in high light so going to check Alkalinity. What test do you recommend I buy?

Salifert or hanna. Salifert easier to use

Looking at the pic, I see just a frag plug. Looks like it came unglued and is probably hiding somewhere in your tank. ;)

I can see the frag reflection of the bottom glass. Looks like it fell over, could you get a photo of the flesh?

This is exactly what I thought when I saw the picture. There's no acan in the picture.

I'm not sure if my brain is playing tricks on me, but based on the bottom pane reflection, you can see the acan on the other side of that tipped over (on its side) frag plug. Lol am I seeing things?

I see something on the back side but not sure if it would be a frag. If I were him I would pick the plug up by hand and examine it

I see it now. I think OP doesn’t need to worry anymore.
