Acan detached

Hello all- my tiger acan has been accidentally detached from his original frag rock. Had a rock fall, from what I can tell it looks like the skeleton broke and the flow then loosened it. Came down this morning to see it attached by one polyp, blowing in the wind.
With no way to secure it where it was, I gently nudged it off the rest of the way, put it on a small rock with the tiniest drops of gel glue, and put it in a shot glass.
He was doing great prior to this, and had grown 4 small new heads in the few months I've had him.
Any one have experience with this?

You've done exactly what i would've done. Just keep it in the shot glass until it attaches
