Hey all my LFS threw this coral in with some other coral I was purchasing. It looked almost exactly like this when I got it and hasn’t improved at all. I dipped it and put it on the substrate a month ago. Since then I have tried moving it around the tank and target feeding it Mysis shrimp to no avail. I don’t think it’s dead because it still has tissue. I currently have it in a shaded area on my substrate and it seems to be doing a little better but still deflated. Only see a few feelers on 1 head from time to time. This is an Acan, correct? I haven’t seen one that looks like this. I have another Acan that looked similar when I got it but has since bounced back and is thriving. Can anyone give me some pointers? I haven’t been able to find one similar to it.

Thank you!! Yes it does look more like a Favia than an Acan lol

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
