Please help me verify that these 2 acans are Acan Lords. LFS that sold them to me (at separate occasions) said that they both are Acan Lords. These are my first 2 corals and I didn't even know that there were different types of Acans and that they are not good being next to each other if they are a different type of acan.

Thanks for the quick reply! Can acan lords have different types of "heads", ones that seem to be "their own" like the right one and one that seem to be "as one" like the left one? The left one also feels stony to the touch and doesn't react like the right one if I touch it. The right one gets irritated and shrinks while the left one just stays the same

You're very welcome. My acans that were unhappy usually looked like the one on the left. Hopefully in time it will puff up. If not it could be a different species like suggested
