Hi all, I recently bought these corals from my LFS and they were all sold to me as “Acan” (Micromussa), but the more I look at them, the more I feel they may not all be the same species.

Especially the red one on the left — it sometimes extends longer semi-transparent tentacle-like feeders/sweepers, which makes me wonder if it could actually be a Lobo or something else.

Based on the photo, would you be able to help identify them?

Do they all look like Micromussa/Acan, or are they different species? If they are different, should I increase spacing and rearrange them to avoid coral aggression?

Thanks in advance!

all of them are Acans (Micromussa), Lobos are usually phaceloid and have larger polyps while Micromussas are cerioid and have coenosarcs/mantles that form a lip over the theca

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
