Acan lord placement

I just got my first acan lord frag.. I told my lfs I had a orbit marine led fixture(not the pro) and he told me to place it towards the top.. I placed it on as high as I could without using a frag rack, glued it to a rock which is about halfway up my tank and I have a jbj45.. did I do good or should I move it up or down?

They like medium flow and medium light . Usually placed at the bottom of the tank

my lights aren't that great I bought them used almost 2 years ago and they're not the greatest to begin with and as far as flow im.honestly not sure how much they're getting their tentacles move but I guess I'll try to take a video later when I'm home

Ok sounds good thank you.. if they are happy how long should I wait til I target feed them? I got them less than 24 hours ago

You can give it a couple days before feeding. See if its happy first then feed twice a week. I have mine in the middle of the tank at the bottom. It's not shaded so it's getting medium light and medium flow in my setup.

I have them under medium light, low to medium flow and they do great. I rarely feed corals but seen them do better in tanks where they are spot fed 1-2 times per week

Do they do well just sitting on the sand or should they be anchored to something ?

Are they still doing well in a cave? I've just placed a frag of mine in a lowwww light area under an over hang that gets little direct light.
