Acan placement

I keep reading that Acans can struggle when placed near soft corals. Has anyone noticed this or have any experience with this?

I want to add some acans to my tank, but have a few scattered leathers.

I would think they would be fine as long as both corals aren't touching each other. leathers can secrete a toxin if you will as a way to wage coral warfare so they can expand. If you are worried about that then just run carbon regularly and that will take care of that.
