There is a show-off thread for acanthastrea lordhowensis, but not for any of the other sp. of acanthastrea.

This is the place to show off your acans that are not in the lordhowensis sp.

Also I think it would be neat to share some information about your acan: Origin,Requirements,Growth, etc.

I will start off with....

LE Time Warp Acan Echinata

Likes moderate flow and moderate light. It is not very agressive,as the feeders seem to be short. It grows at a moderate rate(2-3 heads a month). I was told it came from Indonesia.

Post yours!

So concerning the differences between lets say the echinatas vs. the lords, what is the growth rate comparison? I would be interested in getting an echinata but my acan lords grow so slowly (I understand each individual coral has independent growth rate I'm just wondering if there is an average of which grows quicker)
