Acanthophyllia Question

Hi all, I got this Acantho today (shipped) but it is showing a large amount of skeleton on a side. Is this expected on this coral? It is green,so not fresh skeleton.

it's not 'expected' but it can/does happen, otherwise it looks fairly healthy, keeping it in stable, ideal conditions it should fully recover.

It’s receded but the remaining flesh looks healthy so it could continue do well.
