Achilles swimming weirdly

Hello all recently my achilles tang had been swimming weirdly. I don’t think it’s swim bladder issues, but he’s not using his side find when swimming as much as he used too. He still eats like a pig but idk what happened.

How long have you had him, and have you added any other Fish or Inverts lately? At first glance, I would suspect an aggression event. Maybe that convict.

Please repost using white light intensity as its impossible to see any imperfections on body. Preliminarily I dont see much abnormal other than fish giving in to convict tang

I’m not sure exactly what you’re seeing. A better video under white light might help.

But, I agree, the Achilles is shying away from the convict for food. The Achilles also looks a bit thin - it probably hasn’t been getting its fair share of food.

To the eye there’s no white spots, cuts, or any marks. He’s been eating like crazy while Imm trying to fatten him up. All the other fish are super large and fat. He just came back into the dt from a 4 week qt

Why was he in your QT for 4 weeks? He most likely got injured by one of the others when you re-introduced him to your DT.

I don't see anything that worrisome - agree its hard to see anything on his body
