Not too long ago (24.04) I found something on the glass in my overflow. After looking it up I concluded with it being a Amphiscolops sp and found it fascinating. There were a few of them, not too many, but a good dusin or two. They were moving slowly, hunting for small pods on the glass.
But now they seem to have exploded in population, and I'm not so sure it's Amphiscolops anymore. My knowledge of flatworms is close to none other than what I've read to be on the lookout for.
Since I did see they hunt for small pods, I assume since I have literally thousands of isopods everywhere, they have exploded in population. I see them all over in the overflow now, but also on the front glass as well. Probably hundres of them. I dont have many isopod predators in my tank at the moment, only a small pair of ocellaris, which is eating them in their corner, but the rest of my 130 gallon tank is free for the pods to populate, so I am just thinking that these flatworms are thriving.

However, after trying to find more info about these flatworms, I don't know if its a brown Acoel flatworm, or the Ghost flatworm. The smaller ones seem to be more or less transparent, but they are also brownish. They are too small to get a good photo of as I don't have any macro lenses, but I managed to get a crappy photo of one bigger one, and a photo of more of them together in my overflow.
Do you guys know exactly what they are? Do they feed on pods alone? I dont have many corals, a couple of zoas, a small torch, a small birdsnest and a small micromussa, and I havent seen any flatworms on them, yet.
The wird thing is I haven't added anything to this tank for months!
Originally I wasn't too concerned as Im about to take this tank down and start a much much smaller tank. The 130 gallon is just too big. But I want to know what these flatworms are, and if they are benign or harmful.
