Acro corallite structure

I have an acro. It is encrusting well, with some upward growth. But it has a very odd, unique, maybe disformed corallite structure. The mature radial corallite aren't round or cup shaped. They form a very sharp point. They are sharply pointed with a small bulb or ball at the tip. Has anyone ever seen this? I'll will provide pics later. Hopefully my phone can get close enough

I had a green stag with blue tips that had sharp coralites, I forget the species name though. Let's see a pic!

No tube worms. That structure is very thin

Nope, it is like that on all sides of the coral. Shaded side, high light side, low flow and high flow side

Looks like growth tips.... a sign of growth

Make sure you get the bubble algae before it kills the frag and the aptasia. I think once it's grown out things will look more normal.
