Are all acro crabs beneficial to the acro? Can anybody distinguish which ones are safe and which ones kills?

as far as i know safe ones have a black bandit stripe accross their eyes and are smooth,
I got mine on some colonies bought from a local store (he gets them on most of his colonies) and the one i have has been in the tank for about 2 years and the Granulosa he calls home shows now ill effects and he actually protects it, ive seen him "push" hermits off of the colony.
