the acro on the right in second photo, but also is the one on the left (left of the bonsai) a pc rainbow? the encrusting base has more greens and yellows and red stem with some yellow and purple

I’ve got the acros you’re asking about in my tank.

That could be a Walt Disney. They’re not the easiest coral to color up. You’ll have to wait and see what it does. I never pulled great colors out of mine. It’s been a finicky stick for me. It STN’d last year, but the base survived and it’s starting to branch again. Here’s an old pic. It’s the tall acro on the right

That does looks like a PC rainbow. Mine is all red in about 500 par. They color up under lower par. I find PC rainbow is pretty easy to keep and a fast grower.

PC rainbow in the center and bonsai on the right.

Here’s that bonsai at its peak, before I trimmed it.

I noticed recently the "potential walt" has lost almost all polyp extention, but again, all the acros in my tank have no PE and only at night, maybe im observing the walt at times where the others have polyps out and the walt isint out yet but every time i check the walt does not have polyps out (fully) at night too and only peeks a bit during daytime, Could this mean a water quality or light issue?

As far as polyp extension goes, I run high flow right above the colonies. It helps keep them clean and acros love flow. Your nutrients need to be reasonable or at least detectable. Make sure that none of your fish are picking at the acros.

Space is always a problem in a SPS tank. Spread them out if you have the room. They can usually grow into each other without bleaching, but one tends to overgrow the other.

i have no angelfish in the tank, only damsels, clowns, a lawnmower blenny and a yellow ambasseder

Could be, I've had WD frags turn all green. Typically the coralites stand out more on Walt, but frags do funny things. I've had frags grow a huge base and turn into smoothish lumps and then grow branches, or never grow a big base and just start throwing branches up. Corals are weird.

Unfortunately I believe that’s 100% a green slimer. The coralites are not as pronounced as a wd or any tenuis. You’ll have to see when it grows a bit but I wouldn’t be too optimistic. The red one appears to be a pc rainbow but hard to tell exactly

Agreed, the coralite structure looks nothing like WD.

Bought a wild strawberry shortcake acro colony today, it has its feeders out 24/7 (even at the store) and as soon as it went into my tank it had them out, ill see if it keeps them out or retracts them like the other acros I have

4th day and the colony is starting to color up already and also polyp extension and feeder extension is still very strong, also the slimer has started to extend its polyps again
