Curiois as to why you think the radions killied it? Too much light, not enough?
I run 4 on my 80 and colors can be different than my 16hd system.
Growth is very nice now and I am running at a lower level than most I believe.

Bc I went with the g6 xr15s pros assuming 2 would be enough for my 50g. I had to max out the intensity and crank up my whites much higher than my corals were used to achieve enough par. I lost my 5 year old giant psycho asylum colony, the flaming sunrise, bleached my insanity and stressed several other Tenuis within a week of the change. The head scratcher was the par was still much lower than before. But these fixtures are mounted much closer to the water than my old hydras. I can only assume they were getting led burns. I have since added a third xr15 so I could reduce the whites and over all intensity. Everything is much happier now but still adjusting.

That’s crazy! I have a single xr15 blue over a 60gallon cube and it’s fine! Everything growing great and coloring up like crazy! I run it at 75% no clue what my par is.. if I had to guess by seeing tests on here maybe 100 at best mid tank and around 50 on the sand but my hammers and torches in the sand and growing like crazy! I think the uv is giving false readings on par meters and everyone is freaking out! I’m running the ab+ schedule which is all leds “whites included”

For starters…. I believe 2 blue xr15s would of been fine for my set up. But I went with the pros, and that’s the underlying problem
Do you have g5s or g6s?

I have a single g6 which is better spread but less par so they say..

Have you checked your par?

I learned, after the fact, It would have been easier to make the blues “less blue” without wasting much potential power than making these pros more blue.
I also need +250 par in much more of my tank than you do at this point. I have acros mounted/ growing 1-2 inches from the side panels of the glass.

What am I looking at here? Is that a shade or something around your radion? Is it hanging or tank mounted?
Haha! Yeah I custom build everything! Fully adjustable light bracket.. makes it look like it’s floating.. I’m the king of diy! Been around here many years! I can adjust my light from 4” off the water up to 9”

My speciusas are directly under radion xr30 g5 blue and they act fine. One was in the end of my tank with 50% light start dying till I changed her place to full light, that’s interesting…

Are you at 100% point intensity?
