Acropora Tissue Recession... need experts here plz.

Without going into much detail does anyone know what this is? It starts at the base of my acros and eventually the entire colony dies, takes weeks to months but once I see this the colony eventually dies. Any idea?

The recession you see has taken about a month since I noticed it at the very base of the coral as a super thin strip.

Some small swings at the beginning of August but fairly steady since.

There a a few aiptasia in the tank, none are near the base of the acros.

I am not poking fun, but we seriously need a patron saint of acroporas. Then we could just light a candle and pray when we have problems....

There are numerous things that can cause stn/rtn. Posting full tank parameters is a good place to start.

I dipped several of the corals and no pests dropped.

Apparently my mag kit is not accurate, the icp I shared has it around 1450
