very nice, thanks for sharing

Thanks Ninja, this is what the Fireworks looking piece began life as when i bought it freshly collected off the GBR. The smaller circled piece on the left is mine and all the rest were sold before i got to the shop days after the pic was taken and sent to me by Dave my LFS owner and fellow SPS junkie. The larger circled piece is also wild Fireworks so you can see that while it looked nice it was just luck that it colored up the way it has.

Was the cause a nutrient swing or something to do with nuking the polyps? Stunning display btw, I've been known to lurk around your thread on rc lol

I bottomed out the phos in two days with my first and last foray into lanthanum chloride dosing. Still running the skimmer back into the display to get some filth back in the water. A yellow rubber ducky in the bubble bath would have been an epic touch to the shot i feel........

Beautiful man. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks a lot Rik :)

I was given this little branch for free in January this year by Dave when i refused to buy it since i thought it was a dog that wouldn't color up well, it was $25- from memory. Dave thought it was a potential stunner and wanted to see what it did in my tank but even when he was bagging it i was telling him i didn't even want it for free. This is it about a week after i brought it home from memory, i already knew Dave had been on the money by this stage.

The left side branch of the above frag is now in a primo spot and the other larger branch piece was chopped up into about 8 or 9 frags and shared for safekeeping with my mates. Dave will be getting quite a few frags back to say thank you :)
