I have a 40 breeder with a sump. acrylic welded to the side of the sump is an additional cpr backpack sump.
the backpack is 25Lx12Hx4.5W
Total water volume clearly isn't an issue, the backpack is nearly empty, just has some LR on the bottom and the apex probes at one end, swimming volume is somewhat constrained though.
I cut a window into the stand to allow viewing of the sump, so i want to add a busy fish to it. was thinking maybe a damsel or some other kind of "jerk" fish. This is also where any unwanted hitchhikers or things that eat coral will end up. Kind of like a "reject" tank lol.
there is a mandarin in the main tank, so i don't want anything that will eat pods.
best pic i have on my phone is a sketchup render, i'll have to update the build thread at some point.
