About me:
Started this hobby back in 2011 I’ve always had a love for nano tanks.
when we moved across the USA I tore the tank down, and it broke during transit and I never set it back up fast forward to today the kids are old enough and I felt it was time to start back over.
Tank is an ADA 60p
Lights: echotech radion
Sump/refugium: @Micro-Reefs Aquarium custom 9.5 gallon
Return: seltz dc750
Powerhead: Sicce nano 2000
Skimmer: icecap nano
20lbs live sand

Tank has been cycling for 24 hours with the fritz turbo start 900 and 22ml of algae barn nitrocycle.
Ammonia: 4-6ppm
Nitrate: 40-60ppm

plans are I’d love Macro algae in the display along with softies/lps and maybe a few sps. Two clowns and a goby.

Looks great! I'm also using a 60P for my reef. How does the sump work? Did you drill your 60P? I'm a total newb when it comes to sumps/plumbing...

Edit: just realised you also commented on my thread! High five for 60Ps :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

I did drill the 60p.
im using an Xaqua in out overflow.
Here’s the sump as it was being built and tested. It’s designed more as a refugium then a sump but essentially the same thing in this small application. Think of it more as adding volume to your display tank and a way of hiding unsightly things.
Water leaves the display is gravity fed to the Refugium, filter socks trap big particles then water goes through the cheteo section that’s seeded with pods, helps with natural removal of nitrate and other nasty from there filter floss guards the return pump bringing the pods to the main display.
My ato, heater all hidden in the refugium under the main tank

Photo dump.
Tested everything yesterday
Ph 8
Nitrate 3.5ppm
Phosphate.07ppm
Ammonia 0
Fish are happy
One head of the frogspawn seems to be a little unhappy, when fragged it was miscut and seems to be trying to regrow but other times it’s deflated and showing it’s skeleton so only time will tell
