Hey everyone!

Yesterday was the start of my fallow period for ich. I removed 12 fish from a 120, 6 wrasses, foxface, ccb, Tang, square back, and 2 smaller fish.

To keep consistency and the bacteria population the same should I dose ammonia daily?

I will be dosing po4 and po3 to keep those levels consistent. Then I thought what about bacteria, so that when the fallow period is over the tank can handle the fish coming back in and feeding fed. I'd rather not add food to the tank and have it rot.

Thoughts?

If you have inverts you can always ghost feed the tank. That will prevent food from rotting.

My clean up crew is not strong and with no fish at the moment I don't want to add more.
