Add weir comb or not

Trying to decide if I'm going to add a weir comb or not. Looking to here opinions to help me make a decision. I made an acrylic cover for the overflow to block the view. There is not a weir.

I'm contemplating adding these weir combs to my cover. The current plan is to weld on permanent ones on the left and right side. And then a removable on on the front.

I feel like fish would be in there all the time with no weir. You could make a top for it that just sits on it as well...that would keep snails out too
