Hey guys,

Just wanted to give you guys an update on how the tank is going, been about two weeks since I last post but the water parameters are looking good, got a nice diatom bloom going, and the two clownfish are still pretty active and healthy looking. I added a 850gph powerhead and pointed it at the surface to increase surface agitation and also got a protein skimmer for a really good deal. The protein skimmer is a coralife super skimmer 65g and at first it started leaking from the red piece but some teflon tape quickly fixed that. The skimmate is finally showing a darker color so looks like it is working. No sump yet so it’s just hanging on the back for now. Also rearranged the rockscape because it was hard to clean the glass like before and it seems a lot more stable and secured than the last one. In addition, I swapped out the aqueon pro new version (junk) and replaced it with an Eheim Jager 150w heater and keep it at around 76-78 degrees.
