Added two small emerald crabs and one is already picking at my Blasto!!!! Suggestions?

I love the way that Emerald crabs look and I think they are pretty fascinating to watch. I’ve also read they are great for keeping algae in check. I just added two small ones into my 20 gallon cube tank and one of them IMMEDIATELY went to my blasto frag and started cleaning the base. In a ten minutes span I’ve seen him pick at the flesh of the coral twice. I don’t know if it was intentional but if this is the way things are gonna go with these crabs I should probably just take them right back to where I got them from. What are your guys thoughts??

I would watch them closely...then if seeing anymore flesh damage from their pincers, then remove them!

Common problem when keeping Emerald Crabs. They may have great Pro's like cleaning up some of even the toughest algae but the Con's of them growing a taste for coral isnt worth the risk sometimes. I would keep an eye on him but you might need an eviction.
