I have a 40 gallon saltwater fish tank which is doing great I have a total of 5 fish in there starry blenny, 2 clownfish, cardinal fish and last but least a royal gramma who is a little Territorial but it doesn’t chase anybody just opens his mouth I was wondering if I should add a wrasse to my tank like a different one that doesn’t look like him any ideas

A 40 gallon is pushing it, but if it's the dimensions of a 40 breeder you could do a lubbock's fairy wrasse or possibly a flasher. As for territorial gramma? Either of the wrasses mentioned could hold their own against one. They generally won't start fights but they will definitely defend themselves if another fish tries to bully them persistently.

I appreciate that I have a 40 gallon cube tank I will definitely look into thanks

A pink streaked or either of the possum wrasses would be others to look into.
